5.2 Friday Faves

Hi friends! Happy Friday! What’s going on this weekend? Liv has a dance competition, so we’re headed up to Phoenix, P has a basketball game, and we’re meeting up with friends for gelato. I hope you have a fun and relaxing weekend ahead!

A highlight of the week: it was Maisey’s 4th birthday!  We celebrated by grilling her a filet mignon – her first ever and she LOOOOVED it – with a night of swimming and fetch, and then a trip to Petco to replenish her tennis ball stash.

(Easter picture because she spent most of her actual birthday looking like a wet rat from playing in the pool)

I can’t believe that we’ve had this fluffy, lovey girl for 4 years now. She brings so much joy and love into every.single.day and we’re so lucky she’s ours.

It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your faves, too, so please shout out something you’re loving in the comments section below.

5.2 Friday Faves

Fashion + beauty + random:

Wrapped up week 4 of homeschooling. We finished Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing (I wanted something light and fun to start) and it stood the test of time. We were cracking up at so many points during the book. Judy Blume helped me fall in love with reading for fun when I was young, and it’s amazing that she’s doing the same for P.

This dress! I haven’t really hopped on the butter yellow trend until now but the fabric is dreamy and it’s lined, so not see-through at all. On sale here.

Celebrating my friend Ana’s birthday! Her party was a George’s Wine Shop and we had appetizers, desserts, and drank wine and chatted with all of our friends. It was perfection.

(my dress is from RTR – you can use this link to try it free for one month. I love it for travel and events!)

Don’t forget to check out this year’s Mother’s Day gift guide here. SO much good stuff
